Team Challenger, growth opportunities as a team and individual

The goal is always to help a team and each individual develop by creating opportunities in which they can learn. We start from the action and we build the program. A healthy balance between action and reflection ensures a balanced programme. If we integrate the talent development of each individual into the process, we start with a moment at which each individual individually embraces a number of personal talents and points of work. The assignments have never been determined in advance but are put together on the spot according to the process the team/individual goes through. Although we always present assignments that are feasible for everyone, nobody is not obliged at any time.

Such a programme can be organised at any location. We prefer to work on this at our own location in Priorij Corsendonk, where a very extensive infrastructure is present.

Leadership

What is leadership? Which elements contribute to good leadership? We will map leadership from 6 domains. A leader needs to have a vision where he wants to go with his company, department or team. The next step is to get the cooperation of others to work on this vision, then implement it and monitor progress. The result is the end goal and this by working in a team-oriented way.

Behind these 6 domains are still 22 dimensions in total. With this program we will map out very practical assignments both indoor and outdoor, how this looks like for each participant and where the development points are located. After each assignment there is a thorough debriefing.

Communicating efficiently

How do I make contact with others so that from the correct wavelength I can involve the other person in my goal? What are the benefits of asking or giving feedback?

Knowing what I want, I can also clearly express my expectations as to what increases the chances of achieving the desired result. What are the classic pitfalls in communication?

We start working directly on team assignments in which the team will have to communicate. After each assignment there is a debriefing about how the team members have experienced the assignment and what they can do better.

Behavioural preferences and cooperation 

I know my behavioural preferences, both under normal circumstances and stress. I can also recognize these in others to find the right wavelength to each other to promote good collaboration.

With this program I get acquainted with my preferred styles and learn to recognize them among others. I know how to do things in order to promote good cooperation. I gain insight into the group dynamics.

Managing my team

Managing teams is not always self-evident, with this model we can easily gain insight into the efficiency of my leadership approach.
