Business game: The Reality Experience

A perfect fit for the new reality of teleworking
Action – Teamwork – Communication – Challenge – Creative

A learning game in itself but it is also used as part of coaching or training.

It is a game where people get opportunities to experiment with other ways of behaving, communicating and skills. People see the impact immediately and get direct feedback.

Reflection moments are provided and facilitated by ourselves or coaches. This game is highly malleable and can therefore be organised completely in consultation according to your wishes.

In The Reality Experience, actions are effectively carried out. This means that everything that happens is actually felt. ‘Experiencing’ makes things discussable and then one can also learn from them.

Topics most commonly encountered are:

  • Teamwork
What talents do we discover in the team?
  • Leading
Everyone gets the opportunity to take the lead. Feedback is given from all employees. How do others do it and what would I also like to try to apply?
  • Giving feedback
Positive news is easy but how do you do it with more difficult issues?
  • Communicating
Behavioural profiles are usually known about yourself and perhaps your colleagues. But how does this work? How can you better communicate you with colleagues who have different behavioural profiles?

3 tasks can be distinguished:

  • Managing your colleagues from your office:
You have a monitor and an ingenious software system at your disposal. You have a view of the action field and can follow all your players on your screen. Furthermore, you receive all kinds of commands and information via your screen.
  • Processing and executing instructions:
You move around the action field with a GPS. You receive commands from your office that you control via walkie talkie or mobile phone.
  • Carrying out assignments:
You are given a list of assignments that each can raise. These assignments are of all kinds and you can get very creative with them!

Experiencing the different roles is the best way to learn.

Practical information:
A room is required where each team is assigned its ‘office’. Each team has a laptop, a TV screen. GPS devices and walkie talkies. This game can be organised perfectly throughout the year.

Where and when can you organise it:

  • The game can be organised at any location. Only 3G internet is required.
  • This game is perfectly playable all year round.

Duration: min 3 hours to 1 day
Number: up to 120 people
